Seated Twist on Stability Ball

A rotational core exercise performed while seated on a stability ball to target the obliques.

How to do it

  1. Sit on a stability ball with feet flat, core engaged.
  2. Hold arms in front or across chest.
  3. Rotate your torso to the right, keeping hips stationary.
  4. Pause, then twist to the left.
  5. Return to center, repeat alternately.

  • Sit tall
  • Keep hips steady
  • Rotate from the waist
  • Engage core

Common mistakes

  • Slouching
  • Over-rotating hips
  • Forgetting to brace core

Breathing

Exhale during the twist, inhale as you return to center.
