How to do it

  1. Stand with your back to a bench; place one foot on the bench.
  2. Step the front foot forward and lower into a lunge.
  3. Tuck pelvis under, keeping chest tall.
  4. Lean gently forward to intensify the stretch.
  5. Hold, then switch legs.

  • Overarching lower back
