Rear Deltoid Stretch

A stretch that targets the rear shoulder to enhance flexibility and reduce tension.

How to do it

  1. Extend one arm across your chest at shoulder height.
  2. Use opposite hand to pull arm towards your body.
  3. Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds.
  4. Release and return to start.
  5. Repeat on the other side.

  • Relax shoulder
  • Arm stays at shoulder height
  • Gentle pull
  • No twisting torso

Common mistakes

  • Lifting the shoulder
  • Twisting the upper body
  • Forcing the stretch
