Seated Calf Stretch

How to do it

  1. Sit with legs extended straight in front.
  2. Loop a towel or band around one foot's ball.
  3. Keep knee straight and pull your toes toward you.
  4. Hold position, feeling stretch in calf.
  5. Repeat on the other leg.

  • Keep knee straight
  • Flex ankle back
  • Sit up tall
  • Don't force the stretch

Common mistakes

  • Bending the knee
  • Rounding the back
  • Pulling toes too forcefully
